The Carlsberg Cellars
(75 - 90 minutes, max 25 participants)
The tour down the cellars under Carlsberg starts on the Brewer Square by the relief showing J. C.'s trip from Munich. Here the cellars are six floors and we walk on the 3rd floor via the abandoned pump aisle. Since the foundation of Carlsberg in 1847 the cellars have been used to keep the beer cold during storage. A good example of the storage can be seen in the room with 34 oak casks. The tour continues through "the aisle of death" and into the 100 meter long cellar under the Annexe Brewery, which was home to the first brewery of Carl Jacobsen. Next up we pass the brail tower and the oldest arched cellars. The tour ends at the old brewery where Visit Carlsberg, the stables, exhibition and Bar Jacobsen are situated.
The Old Carlsberg Brewery

Visit Carlsberg is situated in the original buildings of J. C. Jacobsen's Old Carlsberg Brewery. On this tour you gain access to sealed floors and rooms documenting how beer was produced around 1850.
