In the beginning of 2008 we introduced our new aroma room and today it is a very popular part of the exhibition situated in the bar area.
The aroma room is made by Nikolaj Daniels from Madeleine's Madteater, the designers Lene and Mich Rose and the Master Brewer from the Jacobsen Brewhouse Jens Eiken. The philosophy and visual expression in the room is based on the brain scientist Morten Kringelsbach's analysis of the senses and the brain.
In the aroma room, we focus on the sense of smell. Here we invite our visitors to find their favourite aromas. Based on the combination of the selected aromas, the visitors will be able to choose their favourite beer in the bar afterwards.
If you for example prefer the aromas of hops and lemon you should stick to the regular Carlsberg Pilsner, but if coffee, liquorice, and toasted bread are some of your favourite aromas you might try the Brown Ale beer from the Jacobsen Brewhouse.
