Danish lunch served in Bar Jacobsen
A Carlsberg enjoyed cold right here in the historic Carlsberg brewery calls for a classic Danish lunch. You will find both in the spacious Bar Jacobsen where our chef and kitchen staff are specialised in traditional Danish food and lunches. Of course we also serve various sandwiches, snacks as well as coffee and 'cake of the day'.

About Bar Jacobsen
The bar is located on the 1st. floor of the renovated Old Carlsberg warehouse dating back to 1878, and it is an integrated part of the Jacobsen Brewhouse. During your visit you will be able to enjoy the view of our 3 copper vats, and sometimes smell the enticing and unmistakable aroma of hobs and barley from the brewery. While in the bar area you will also be able to watch the filling, crowning and packing of the Jacobsen bottling line which is located right beneath the bar.
The 18 metre long, copper plated bar dominates the classic interior of the room, and our professional and helpful bartenders are waiting to guide you in your choice of beer. If you wish to find further inspiration for your chioce of beer, we suggest you visit the aroma room section in the bar area.
In Bar Jacobsen and in the outdoor café (in the summer), we serve lunch dishes, all prepared with beer as a component. With focus on the purity and the freshness of the Nordic crops we serve light, delicious, and modern food, which is simple to prepare and easy to enjoy.
