To this day Ben Webster has proved to be a true giant at the summit of the jazz star firmament and was considered one of the “big three” of swing tenors. His saxophone sound combined with his unique melodic mastery is still one of the most individual and artistic expressions in jazz. Ben Webster spent his last eight years in Copenhagen, and was buried here in 1973
