The fence around the Carlsberg site in Valby has been removed, and this is marked by an official opening event on Sunday, 3 may 2009. On the same day, Carlsberg's Visitors Centre celebrates its 10th year anniversary!
The official opening and the 10th year anniversary all call for a celebration, so bring your family to Carlsberg for a festive day with circus and jazz!
The Programme
11.30: The new Circus Theatre 'Kimone' performs on Bryghuspladsen (Brew House Square) on Ny Carlsberg Vej (for approx. 25 minutes).
12.30: The 'Kimone' circus performs again for those who missed the first show. (Same place)
13.00: Jazzcomfort feat. Alice Carreri. strikes up in the Visitor Centre's yard. The address is Gamle Carlsberg Vej 11.
14.30: Jazzcomfort feat. Alice Carreri closes the opening event with another concert in the Visitor Centre's yard.
During the opening event, you can buy beer and soft drinks in the Visitors Centre's yard and in the Carlsberg Academy's garden. In the garden, if the weather allows it, you can also bring your own food or picnic basket.
