Friday night, 9 October, the Carlsberg area will turn into a vibrant venue of cultural experiences. This is all part of the annual culture festival "Kulturnatten" (Culture of Night) where 200 institutions in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg open their doors.
The program for the Culture Night at Carlsberg Visitors Centre:
18.00: The gates will be open
19.00: Choir singing in the Pompeji-hall
19.30: Guided tours of the Secret Cellars beneath the brewery
20.00: Choir singing in the Pompeji-hall
21.00: Guided tours of the Secret Cellars beneath the brewery
Last entrance at 23.30
It is possible to buy beers and soft drinks in the bar areas and in the court yard where there also will be a barbeque.
Additionally, Carl Jacobsen's beautiful museum in Valby Langgade 1 opens up to the public. See some of PH's first lamps, masterpieces from Krøyer, and a selection of Carlsberg's history.
Remember that there is free entry on presentation of "kulturnatpas". These can not be purchased on site.
