If you want to try a different approach to Easter, then you should plan a visit at Carlsberg to taste the Easter and Spring beers and learn a bit about them as well.
During Easter Carlsberg Visitors Centre invites you to a beer tasting.
Besides the classic and most common Easter beer from Tuborg (Tuborg Paaskebryg), the tasting also includes the specialty beer, Semper Ardens Easter Brew, and the brand new beer from the Jacobsen Brewhouse, Jacobsen Spring Brew, which is a true Nordic spring beer.
To manage the beer tasting is head bartender Christian Sonne-Schmidt, who through 10 years has been responsible for the bar in the Visitors Centre. He will guide our guests through the many flavours and tell about the individual brews history.
Where: Carlsberg Visitors Centre, Gamle Carlsberg Vej 11, DK2500 Valby, Copenhagen
When: Maundy Thursday 9th and Good Friday 10th of April. Both days at 12 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Danish and at 1.30 p.m. in English
Tickets: Entrance ticket DKK 60. Beer tasting DKK 20, can be bought together with the entrance ticket. Tickets for the beer tasting are sold on the day according to the "first come, first served principle".
The event is only for people over 18 years.
