When you arrive at The Old Carlsberg brewery, we will welcome you in our reception located in the old granary.
After paying the entrance fee, you will get a map and a voucher. The voucher can be used in our bar where you can sample some of our products. Since the tour is performed on your own you can spend your time as you like and concentrate on the things you prefer.
The trip around the Centre also brings you through the stables where you can experience the big Jutland dray horses, bringing back memories of previous days when beer was delivered by horse-drawn drays.
In the sculpture garden, you can see a tiny part of Carl Jacobsen's collection, including a Rodin and a small version of The Little Mermaid, from 1937.
Although we have relocated most of our production to Fredericia in Jutland, beer is still being brewed in the old buildings where the Jacobsen Brewhouse has its home.
The tour ends on the first floor in the Jacobsen Brewhouse, in Bar Jacobsen. Here we have the new aroma room where you can discover your favourite smells, and based on the combination of your chosen aromas you may find your favourite beer in the bar.
The beers and soft drinks will be enjoyed overlooking the characteristic, beautiful copper vessels.
It is also possible to buy various Carlsberg, Tuborg and Jacobsen souvenirs and speciality beers such as Jacobsen and Sember Ardens in our souvenir shop.
